Have your provided your input on the Howelsen Park Vision 2040 project? Join us March 21st to provide input on alternatives and proposed recommendations for improving and enhancing the parks and recreation system, including Howelsen Park.
Join us Wednesday, March 21, 2018, from 5:30pm to 7:30pm at Olympian Hall, 845 Howelsen Parkway. The workshop will include a review of summary of community input to date, vision and goals for the system, and various funding alternatives. Stop by any time, no formal presentation will occur.
In addition to the public workshop, input is being gathered through a statistically valid community-wide survey. Selected households within the city will be receiving the survey in the mail. Input from both the workshop and the community-wide survey will be analyzed to present draft recommendations in April.
Based on feedback from the initial community survey, staff will work to develop three potential alternatives/scenarios for Howelsen Park.
