Contractor Information Session
A contractor informational meeting will be held on Tuesday, Oct 20, 2020 at 1PM to 3PM in the Citizen’s Meeting Room at Centennial Hall, located at 124 10th Street, to present initial design concepts for the Mt Werner Rd & Steamboat Blvd Roundabout Project to future prospective contractors.
The city would like to discuss the preliminary design plan and solicit contractor feedback on phasing, schedule, and constructability ideas. This discussion will allow the design team and city to present better information at the next round of stakeholder engagement and advance the design documents. The project is planned for construction in 2021.
Due to gathering limitations, the event will be limited to 11 attendees with preference given to the construction community. Contact Project Manager, Danny Paul, at 970-871-8210 or dpaul@steamboatsprings.net to submit a registration request. Virtual access will not be available for this meeting.

Tentative Road Closure
Assuming the project does move forward there will be a road closure along Mt. Werner Road at the Steamboat Blvd. / Broomtail Lane intersection from April 12 until July 1. All traffic will be detoured via alternate routes to/from the mountain area…more details to come
